I am Clare, the creator of MagnetStory, an architect & product designer who loves to travel, take photos and collect souvenirs, keepsakes while traveling.

Magnet Story is an app made for people who collect travel magnets, postcards, tickets, coins, pins, small gifts, and other keepsakes.

The idea began with a simple problem:
I have a collection of 72 magnets & over 100 postcards, but it's hard to find matching photos of the trip from my album of 15,000+ photos.
Every mission I try to find the exact photo for that keepsake/ souvenir failed and then my souvenirs end sitting there in silence, while my memory about this trip gradually fades into nothing with time.

What if ... we could make a memory album and attach it to these keepsakes or souvenirs?

That's the birth of MagnetStory.

MagnetStory turns that object into a doorway back to the trip, place, person, or day it came from. so with MagnetStory, your memory, travel story or adventure behind the trip would never be forgotten.

And they would stay on your homescreen as widgets to remind your shiny moments too.

Why keepsakes?

A magnet, postcard, ticket, or small object can carry a place and a feeling in a way a photo thumbnail cannot. MagnetStory starts from the object you already chose to keep.

What it does

MagnetStory helps you connect a keepsake to selected photos, notes, locations, and stories, so you can revisit memories through the object instead of endlessly scrolling.

Not only magnets

Magnets are a natural starting point, but the app is also useful for postcards, tickets, coins, pins, badges, handmade gifts, travel souvenirs, and personal collections.

MagnetStory is not just for organizing photos.
It is for reconnecting with the memories hidden inside the objects you already love.
